First time at the Griffith exploratory. What to expect?

I'm located in Orange County and I'm going out there tomorrow for the first time and want to get a little heads up. Parking? Route? Shows?

The first thing to know about is parking. There is limited parking at the top of the hill so you may end up parking on the side of the road on the surrounding roads and walk up to the Observatory.

The admission to the Observatory is free, but they do have several Planetarium shows that will cost you about $7 per person. They sell tickets a few shows at a time so you don't have to worry about someone getting there in the morning and buying tickets for later in the evening.

For free they also have a couple of talks that you can see what is scheduled when you arrive. Also, if the weather is clear and you are there in the evening, they open up the main telescope for free viewing. The line starts to form right around sunset and depending on how crowded it is you may be waiting about 30-60 minutes. But it is one of the more unique things you can do.

Ron Paul is ready to find himself in an awfully exciting function. Clearly the entire humans who known as him loopy 4 years in the past now admit (might be now not in public) that he used to be lifeless on in regards to the economic system. He used to be a hundred% correct about the housing bubble and he appropriately blamed the Federal Reserve for far of the challenge. These equal persons who at the moment are apparently occupied with spending cuts are going to be awarded with a stark option: Police the sector with Obama/Romney/Gingrich and so forth. OR don't police the world, keep hundreds of thousands of billions of dollars annually with Ron Paul). I have no idea if he can win the Republican nomination (without problems considering there are too many dumb mutherfkers within the important method), but if put in opposition to Obama in a general election he would motive massive issues for the Obama camp (civil libertires violations, indefinite occupations, and so forth.)
