How do I talk to him? He's so quiet!?

Skyler! The point of uncertainty and fear of awkwardness is over. He's already told u he likes you. He told you he thinks you're beautiful and lovely, so what are you nervous about? Just go up to him and ask him a question about school (hey when do we get back from Christmas break? Then... Got any plans? Etc). If you're really afraid, start with innocent convo and slowly and slowly turn it more personal. You have nothing to worry about, you can go up to him and start talking about the great potato famine of 1894 and you'll be fine

hhhmmmmm...i would just bring up a convosation like 'hi what lesson are you going to next?' or 'you look nice today!' then he will have to say which lesson he is going to next or thnx. Just take it slowly and you will get there. I am shy as well and i know that i would find it awkward to have ur crush or guy making full on convosation if you have not really chatted massivly or whatever. Just start a natural conversation. Like "Hi, How are you" type of thing. Maybe he would be more talkative if you guys talked alone with each other. Or if you would invite him somewhere and talk with him there
