Fog lights aren't working?

My jeep fog lights aren't going on. They were working fine a few weeks ago, then all of a sudden won't go on. Plus, on the dashboard switch, there's a little light that goes on (on the actual switch), and that light is not going on either. My manual says nothing about where the fog light fuse is, they only mention a fog light relay which in in the engine compartment box. I pulled it, but its impossible to tell if its bad - it looks and smells fine, not burnt or anything, but its only a square box relay with prongs coming out, I don't know how to test that.

By the way, I know you need your headlights on to turn on the fogs, so thats not it either. Every other electrical component on my car works fine, just the fogs are out.

Any help or ways to diagnose would be helpful. Its not the bulbs either, there's not way both bulbs would go out at the same time. Plus, something is making that switch on the dash not light up.

You need to provide all of the vehicle information before a diagnosis can begin, Need the Year of your Jeep and the Model of Jeep that you have.

Chrysler used a couple of ways to control the fog lamps on different Jeeps so the info will be needed!

front fog lighting fixtures are actually not required by ability of regulation so as that they do no longer attempt them ( a minimum of no longer in my journey ). there are various vehicles which don't have fog lighting fixtures so in case you do no longer use them, why no longer disconnect and get rid of them ? have you ever checked the fuse field because it ought to be so effortless as that. in case you have been to look into the lens of the nearside rear lamp you will probable locate it incredibly is no longer geared up with a bulb holder. that's amazingly consumer-friendly on different vehicles because of the fact the fog lamp is only required on the off area rear.

Check the ground connection. If this got knocked loose, you're lights won't go on. Have you been doing any extreme off-roading that involves a lot of hard bumps? Any driving into deep water? Very possible there could have been a short in the system.
