Will Updating your Graphics Card Driver Allow your computer to play higher graphic games?

we have a fairly new comuter, I want to be able to play Arma3 when it comes out, but I can't even play arma2 free without me lagging all the time, even when all the graphics are set to very low, or disabled. I found this site that checks your computer to see if your computer meets requirements to play the game "can you run it" is what you type in google. everything meets requirements on one of the current games out for PC except for the Graphics card, thing ._. I looked up on youtube on how to update it

if I update my Graphics card drive, will it allow me to meet that last requirement, so I can play newer PC games like arma3???

No, there are many programs online that say they fix your graphics for games to make them faster. If anything, this software slows down your PC. the only way to do this is to replace your graphics card with a better one.
