Hate to break it to ya, but even those that dream of a job at McDonalds require math.

I didn't get taught maths but me and my cousin were chatting the other day(why do we get taught pointless instruments-like the recorder?),maths is great for carpentry(measurements but I think if u know how to do angles that would help)also to add things up when shopping or work out if something says '43 per cent off today' and u want to work out the cost,or if its cheaper to buy it in bulk.weights and adding up times are good to know for baking.basically a lot of things but nothing really that u couldn't be taught in an hour or so if u really needed it.(Grammes of sweets)x

Source(s): If u were a carpenter ur manager could just show u a bit and say 'I want all the woods cut the same, then it wouldn't even require measuring.x

That's not true! Everyone uses some aspect of algebra everyday in the real world!

I cam see your ambitions don't include making much more than minimum wage!

math is everywhere. everyone uses it on an everyday basis. if you never learned math you would have a rough life.

  • To calculate your taxes, gas bill, house mortgage, grocery bills, money, average salary per month/year/week, engineering, accounting, inventory checking, stocking, tracking number of customers and their order, and more.
