How can I become closer to god ?

Well hi I am Rejjia. I am a 14 year old girl too and I am close with God. A way I get close with God is trying to read and talk to him everyday. I ordered this book called I am Second and I read it mostly occasionally. It really helps and sometimes it solves problems going on in your life right now. But yeah Read the bible more, Talk to God more, Find Faithful Friends, and Just be faithful and kind to everyone. Always stick up for God. Confess you have sinned and Believe Jesus is the Son of God. you can say this prayer,

Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all of my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with you from now on. I receive you as my personal Savior, accepting the work you accomplished on my behalf once and for all on the cross. Thank you for saving me. Help me to life that is pleasing to you, Amen.

Easy dude. Get a routine going. What i have been doing and trying to do is read a chapter or two in the morning while i eat breakfast. Im not the best at it, still working on consistency, but that will come. I'm pentecostal, and i dont really know the difference in beliefs, but ya know, Jesus died for us, he is awesome, HUZZA :D

I am currently a student at a bible college, which has helped me soooooo much. Yeah exams are tomarrow, and to be totally honest i dont think i'll pass all my classes. But God has plans for me, and I need to work on my discipline. Discipline in homework, staying consistent in the word, and prayer. Some advice for you, get in the habit of doing all your homework in high school. Trust me, it will help TONS when you get to college. But I have learned so much in these past weeks of school. you just have to say to yourself "This, i need to get done, so i'll put everything aside and just do it." do that with prayer adn reading the word.

and who cares what others think. read your bible at lunch at school. show Christ through everything you do, adn give him all the credit.

adn for prayer. I know it gets crazy when you try to pray. You keep on remembering more and more to pray about. Split it up. What i do is sunday i pray for school, and church. monday is for family and friends. and so on. get your own prayer schedual, its not a bad thing to have. we can't pray for everything at once. If you want a good preacher with great words, google J.P. Dorsey. Or Sam Rijfkogel. both are incredible men of God that i am blessed to know.

dont only try to grow closer to him when you feel like it. we should always be seeking after him. pray for him to give you a hunger that only he can satisfy.
