Anyone know of a good monologue?
I need a comedic monologue ASAP. I'm busy searching all over the internet and have found nothing I like. I'm 15, so the age range 14-19 would probably work the best, it needs to be 2 minutes or under (Preferably under, I tend to get nervous and rush for auditions, and like to get on, do my best, then get off as quickly as possible. Strangely not an issue during a show.... Heh.), and since the play is a Dark Comedy- we're doing a game show thing called The Cards of Fate, and it's really funny in a dark way.

yes check out Molly's soliloquy, the last few pages of Ulysses written by James Joyce.

The best advice is to find something on your own. Don't look online, for god's sake... Online monologues SUCK. Don't look in those "100 Best Monologues!!!" books because THOSE suck. Find a playwright you like, look up his work, and READ PLAYS. That's the best advice I can give you.
