Ghost or demon in the house?

I have seen that before, it is a demon. You see a property or land may have been used for occult practices, divination, magic, sorcery, witchcraft, which can act as a portal for malevolent spirits. Also if you have anything from the occult like ouija board, tarot cards, spell books etc and anything bought second-hand destroy and get rid of them.

I have found it highly beneficial to bless any property you just moved into, and to do one every month, so as to keep the place spiritually clean and free. And if you and your household don't feel up to it or are week in faith, then it is best to get a Priest in to do it for you.

This is one of those things that is as real as you believe it is. People can believe that they're haunted, and wind up having a nervous breakdown because they stressed so much over their perceived reality. What should they do? They should study the Bible to strengthen their faith in God. If the demon is afflicting his sister mentally, the should say prayers in this regard and ask specifically for deliverance from Satan and his demons. They shouldn´t forget to use God´s name in their prayers. -Psalm 83:18; Proverbs 18:10.

i would have been inclined to believe john IF all three of them havent saw the same exact thing, what you described is a night spirit called a menneqishi. My mother and aunt told me a story of how they use to see it, it is a native american legend and not even a real popular one either as with most tribes carry their own beliefs and unless you are native american there would really be no way all three of them could know that. that and the menneqishi. is more ' animalistic' usually described as a dog with elongated limbs that walks up right. i would consult a shaman if you live anywhere near a reservation.
