Soo call me a whore or whatever i need advice, i am in a 7 month long relationship with my bf. I love him dearly and everything seems to be perfect. He treats me like a princess and even when i mess up he forgives me.

Now for the tricky part..

Its long distance (him in louisiana me in wyoming) and he is 10 years older than me. (he is 28 im 17) ~yes its legal in wyoming and louisiana. He gets very jealous and scared i'll leave him. He had issues in the past of people leaving him, and he doesn't want that to reoccur. I understand that and i thought i was ready to be that for him.

I went bowling on saturday night and i met a guy named "Elmo" (the nickname has significance but its not important). Elmo is 23 and black, and not someone im used to being around.

He started to flirt with me (knowing i was in a relationship) and i flirted back. It seemed harmless, so i gave him my number. In all honestly though i know my bf would hate it and i liked flirting. I like elmo.

I know Elmo wont be the kind of man my bf is. They are 180 from each other. totally different. I went to a movie today with a couple friends and they invited elmo too. we sat next to each other and flirted again and i know i have a crush. I dont know if its from the attention im getting (i just got out of being depressed because of family issues). I never got any attention before my bf and now there is another guy and he seems to like me too. i would never do anything with him and he would definitely like to.

I need opinions please. Am i just an attention whore? Or are my feelings for my bf not as strong as i like?? my bf is ready to settle down and im not. at all. I want to go out and flirt but with my bf everything fits together nicely. I dont wanna throw away a great guy for a crush who might just flake anyway. But im stuck on this new dude.

Does it sound like a crush? Or something normal? i hope so..
