How to block facebook?

I am not very computer savvy. My children use Safari instead of internet Explorer to get on the net. I have blocked facebook using IE, but I can still access it through Safari and I cant seem to figure out how to block FB when using Safari. If anyone can tell me how to do this, I would truly appreciate it. Thank you!

WEB K9, is one of the best, you can block what ever sites you want or key words in site url names.

an if they try to restore or tamper with it, blocks ALL internet traffic and directs them to k9 site, an only person who set up acct can change it to allow traffic to any url.

You can add facebook.com (and all its variants) in their HOSTS file. Some routers allow blacklisting websites.

A complicated way is to set-up a proxy server, or a Linux router PC. In other words, their internet access has to go trough that PC, which can monitor, log, and filter.
