What good can come out of interviewing the children in CT?
The police are now saying they will be conduicting interviews with kids from sandy hook... What could possibly come out of these interviews that they don't already know or would make such a difference that it would be necessary to subject these kids to anything more than what was absolutely necessary? They know what happened, they know who did it... they have the asst principal..he's dead so there won't be a trial so none of them habe to be identifying witnesses in court... Besodes, young kids do not make good or accirate witnesses.... Given what happened, I cannot see what kind of information these kids could possibly have that would make such a big differemce that itbis necessary to even interview them at all... Since most will be seeing therapists anyway why not just have the police get their infomation that way instead of exposing them to all different people amd having to rehash it with a straanger over and over... I don't know I just can't see the point... thoughts??
@Hippiegr... yeah.. i saw one interview with a mother who had just gotten her kids from the school amd stopped to talk to a reporter amd he's asking her with the kids standing rigjht there do they know what happened? She says no... Well what are you going to tell them and she's standing there answerimg.... what.. are these kids deaf like they're not gonna get in the car and say who was that man amd what happened??? They were talking about did they see anything etc as if the kids weren't standing there or wouldn't get sometthing was going on and iwas floored... not like you don't have to tell them something but just get them home first and think about it carefully as to how you're going to approach it....

I agree. They are trying to leave no stone unturned for an enquiry, but there is nothng to be gained in traumatising the kids any further.

I think it's horrible, I also think it's horrible that father of the child who died Emilie Parker has been on national television talking about his child, I don't care who you are I could never in my life set up a facebook page let alone talk about my child right after I found out she has passed away, something is wrong with that man, he was laughing right before he went on to talk about her, and not only did he talk 1 time he has talked many more times and he is the only parent who has. It just seems so odd to me. It's almost as if he is making money off his poor deceased child. The media is taking this waaaaaaaaaaaayyyy to far, it's utterly disgusting and the parents of these poor kids are letting it happen so they need to be accounted for this in some way to even allow the kids to talk to the media .....Shame on them.

None. It teaches them that they are victims and they will carry this ADULT sorrow with them the rest of their lives. Watch the movie WITCH HUNT and see what treating innocent children with adult emotions can do to their lives.
