Gasping for air when sleeping?

Recently when I'm trying to get some sleep at night I'm having problems falling asleep. Right when I'm about to fall asleep I start gasping for air. Not really sure why this is happening.

Anyone have any ideas?

I do already use two pillows.

    I think that the best option is to go see a doctor. It might be a serious health issue so Yahoo Answers won't be of much help. Just refer to a doctor. Good Luck.

    u need 2 lay ur head with at least 2 pillows
