Are these good speakers?

my speakers in my car are pretty bad... they don't bump really hard. I have an 13 inch sub in my trunk and that bumps hard but the ones on my speaker doors and in the back seat aren't that great. I noticed in my moms newer car which is a honda 03, her speakers sound amazing even though she doesn't have a subs. she has factory speakers. my car is a 93 integra and the speakers are just so worn out. i found these listings of some speakers for $30 + $13 shipping

Any speakers for $30 aren't going to be mind blowing...

Ideally you need a separate amplifier to power a set of component speakers (mid woofers and tweeters), running off an aftermarket HU.

You can get some really good non-brand cheap audio equipment, but I've blown too many crap speakers now and to be honest if you want audiophile-level sound you should be looking at Pyle, Focal, Hertz, Rockford Fosgate etc. However if you just wanna improve the stock sound on a (relative) budget you won't really go wrong with Infinity, Alpine, Pioneer, Clarion..

50w RMS should be plenty for what I believe you're after, so go for a 2-channel amp rated at 2x50w RMS or thereabouts and use 8 gauge power/ground cables (don't forget in-line fuse for power cable). Make sure to ground well - near to the amp as possible, just bolt through any metal part of the car's structure really but rub down the paint first so you get a bare metal contact! AND WHATEVER YOU DO - USE SHIELDED RCA/SPEAKER CABLES - it's worth the additional cost man :)

Anyway that's a very brief bit of advice, don't wanna go into too much detail - any questions ask me!

They're WalMart, and I'm not materialistic but when you're buying car audio, you don't buy WalMart brands, they're not any good. Look on Amazon, they always have pretty good speakers for pretty good prices on there. I got a pair of Infinity Reference speakers that have an MSRP os $120 for $60 on Amazon.

It is low cost, but then you'll be able to get what you paying for. In my experience Skytec is as a rule one of the worst brands you can prefer from. For those who wanting to buy this in your possess use they commonly will do, but no longer for critical use.

The speakers specifications are fine but there is need for consultation of a technical expert as well
