How do I know if I'm in a relationship?
I've been out with this wonderful boy almost every weekend for the past few months, and last night he told me he "likes" me. I told him I also feel for him as well, but we never said anything about going steady. We are going to his work Christmas party tomorrow night, and I suppose this may be considered a date, of course. Yet, are we going as a couple, or as two people who have open feelings for each other but not official? It confuses me, so I am asking you, Yahoo Answers community, to help me out!
Thank you!

you should ask to meet up before the party. Talk to him alone and ask him where he sees this is going. You have to tell him how you feel and if you want to be in a relationship with him. Thats what i would do. just ask him. he might be nervous to ask about it so you need to step up to the plate. but he also might just want to date you and other people so you need to ask him so that you know where you stand.

depends on how you define relationship. To me, if you are dating him, even if it is non-exclusive on both your parts, you have a relationship. Not as intense as going steady, being engaged, married, or whatever, but a relationship definitely exists
