My Frigidaire stack washer/dryer:?
If I have the dryer on and I turn on the washer on, the heating element begins to cool off. I have tested this in every way and happens every time. I installed it on its on 15amp breaker. model lc-120d
15amp is the requirement of this unit. Not sure of the gauge wire used but it is the same throughout the household.

I think it's over loaded the power. So, if possible turn on any one at one time. One thing you can do have a talk with customer care executive for fix your problem.

Both Whirlpool and Frigidaire make Kenmore washers and dryers for Sears. You are better off buying a older Whirlpool. I have been an appliance tech for 20 years. Whirlpool machines are easy and cheap to work on if anything goes wrong. The new front loaders have way too much electronics that can be very expensive to repair.

You will most probably find that the total loading if both washer & heater were used at the same time may exceed the 15a supply so to prevent this the element is automatically turned off when w/m is turned on
