best way to clean battery area on golf cart?
i just acquired a 1994.5 ezgo electric cart. according to what i can find out it is
a medalist txt. the batteries are 2 yrs old. i want to clean up the battery compartment
it has 6 batteries 36 volt sys. i dont know if i can use pressure washer but think it would be
a little much. im not sure what area under the seat can get wet and what cant. i also dont
know if i should take batteries out or leave them in and hooked up.i dont know how they
do it at the golf courses but im sure they dont take the batteries out each time, maybe
they dont clean under the seat i dont know. so i will greatly appreciate any help you can
give me. thanks

You probably have some corrosion on your battery connectors. Good courses have their employees power wash them daily. You should also check the water levels inside the battery. They need to be filled about 90 percent full.

I remember working at Mount Warren Park Golf club in Queensland and cleaning a fleet of about 25 carts. Every day I would have to clean the carts so you could imagine removing the batteries was not an option.
I would just use a normal hose and wash out under the seat....this worked fine, hope this helps.
