The End of the World 21 December 2012 - 3 days till Armageddon?

This is information is based off a Mayan calendar (that is the year the calendar stops). I do not know why or how the Mayans came to the conlusion that this is when the earth would end. I do not take it that seriously. Everyone thought the world would end in 2000 or when the planets last all aligned up. Fact is, there is no knowing when the earth will end. And im seeing way too many questions about this date on here.

Maybe if he existed.. Which he doesn't, and is only some guy many many decades ago who believes he was the 'holy lord' and made people believe that, because you know.. If you were living way back then wouldn't you be completely confused and thought 'who brought us here? Why are we here'.

Yahweh says there are prophecies that need to be fulfilled from the Book of Revelation before the end comes and not to believe the false prophecy of 12/21/12.

Judgment day is upon us and it is time for all to repent and pray for Holy Spirit. Do not take this lightly. This is serious as the Great Tribulation also known as Armageddon will come.

No the world will not end on December 21, 2012 or so. But you ridicule spiritual things too quickly.

The the Mayan calendar does not really predicted the end of the world in 2012 on December 21. It is only indicated as being the end of a 13th major cycle and there are other dates mentioned beyond it. The notion of a "Great Cycle" coming to an end is completely a modern invention.

However we do seem to be in the end times period of history in this year of 2012. For example, Jesus predicted for the end times seem to be on the increase now such as false Christs, wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes. (See Matthew Chapter 24) We are seeing more and more of these things and also unusual weather. Astronomers also predict possible huge solar storms out of the sun in 2013, which could disrupt satellites.

According to those who have studied Bible prophecy, we will experience a 7 year period called the Great Tribulation (before the 2nd coming of Christ) in which "the beast" or anti-Christ will rise up to rule the world. This world leader will bring in a cashless system in which no one can buy or sell without a mark on the right hand or forehead. This will most likely be a microchip implant with all financial information.

“It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.” (Revelation 13:16-18)

There is now a big push towards one world government and the microchip implant technology. Politicians talk more about the need for global governance and a new world order. Microchips are now being used on around 8 million pets in the USA and are now being used on humans for medical ID and security. More systems are being set up to discourage and stop the use of cash.

When the microchip cashless system is fully put into place, do not receive the mark! All who get it will be condemned forever.

We could soon be catapulted into a worldwide government with a cashless system. When chaos occurs, people can get desperate and turn to powerful government control.

The US government now has over 16 trillion dollars in debt. There are over 600 trillion dollars worth of derivatives (bundled debts) circulating in the financial world and much of that is toxic A number of analysts are predicting 2012 or soon after to be a time of economic chaos. Gerald Celente of the Trends Institute says that in 2012 we will likely have an “economic 9/11”. This could be accompanied by war with Iran and/or collapse of the US dollar. There could be shortages of food and starvation in the USA.

While 2012 will not be the end of the world, we may see economic chaos and a march toward one world oppressive government. So we should prepare ourselves practically and also spiritually. Be ready to oppose this mark of the beast.

We have all broken Gods laws such as stealing, lying, pride, hatred, selfish ambition, and so on. We are all are guilty before God. Jesus paid the penalty for all our wrongdoings on the cross. People can receive forgiveness and eternal life only though receiving him as Lord and Savior. Those who do never have to fear death or the end of the world.

Matthew 24:36.. Nobody knows the day of Jehovah but Jehovah himself. End him only not even Jesus.

am i the only one that noticed the date on this question is the 21st !??!!! o.O i dnt believe the crap abt the world ending cus the bible says no one but the father knows wen the worlds going to end but i thought it was weird tht this question is dated on the 21st but its only the 19th :O

What most people don't understand is that the false predictions and erroneous dates for the end is all designed to water down the seriousness of God's judgment day. What Satan the Devil wants people to do is to become indifferent about it and no longer take it seriously so that they will not take action to become approved by God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 says the Satan has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that the good news about God's purpose for the future might not be understood:

“4 among whom the god of this system of things (Satan) has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.”

The good news that Satan doesn't want us to know is that very soon God will establish his Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven and will get rid of all earthly kingdoms or governments that have failed miserably in solving the problems of mankind. This is confirmed for us at Daniel 2:44:

“44 “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;”

In order for God's government in the hands of his King Jesus Christ to be effective in transforming the earth and righteous mankind back to perfection, he must first get rid of all wickedness and the primary person responsible for causing it in the earth, Satan. This is where the whole concept of judgment day and the end of the world comes in. it is not some cataclysmic event that will destroy everyone and everything including the earth. it is simply God's day for judging those individuals who refuse to acknowledge Jehovah as the true God and his son Jesus as the King of his Kingdom. Those persons will be deemed wicked in God's eyes and will be removed from the earth.The bible promises this at Psalms 37:10,11,29:

10 And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;

And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.

11 But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,

And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”

“But as for the offspring of the wicked ones, they will indeed be cut off.

29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth,

And they will reside forever upon it.”

These verses make it very clear that not all persons will be destroyed on Judgment day and it also proves that the earth will still be here because those righteous ones who are granted everlasting life for their love and loyalty to God and his son, will live on it forever!

Jehovah has held off his day of judgment for thousands of years because he wants as many people as possible to hear the message that his Witnesses are preaching all over the earth, and respond by dedicating their lives to do his will. This is confirmed by 2 Peter 3:9,10:

“9 Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. 10 Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a hissing noise, but the elements being intensely hot will be dissolved, and earth and the works in it will be discovered.”

Notice that Jehovah's day will come as a thief, this means unexpectedly as we don't know the date that a thief plans to break into our homes and steal. Likewise, we don't know the exact day that Jehovah will execute his judgment on this wicked society. So all the speculation and predictions are a waste of time because only Jehovah knows the day and hour as Jesus stated at Matthew 24:36-39:

“36 “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. 37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. 38 For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; 39 and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.”

Instead of debating the day and hour that Armageddon is coming, all of us should be focused on taking advantage of God's patience and learn how we and our families can survive his day of judgment.
