94 camaro shifts hard into second smooth on others?
Runs good but 90% of the time it really takes a few seconds to shift into second. All other gears shift smooth and don't hessitate. Sometimes when its cold shifts into second with ease. What could the problem be. Also at WOT it won't shift unless you back off.

First make sure the transmission isnt over filled with fluid. that would cause a hard shift in one or more gears. another possability is the valve body may be sticking. to service or replace the valve body the trans. pan has to be removed.

i assume its were given clean tranny fluid and strong filter out? and its were given perfect volume of perfect fluid,, fluid is cooled through the radiator,,is it operating genuine? i assume its not overheating,,followers operating genuine,,perfect 50/50 mixture fluid/water...I also assume engine is tuned up,,a foul operating engine confuses the laptop into shifting badly i replaced into U ?? change fluid and filter out,,and verify all the different stuff,,i assume no verify engine lite is on,,
