Anyone else experience this uncertainity?

Ok. About three weeks ago, I took an HPT. It was positive. I took one an hour later, it was negative. Now my last period was sometime right before or after halloween. The next morning I took one, it turned positive instantly. I went to two seperate pregnancy centers and had a pee test at each, both positive. Today I had my first ultrasound. She said all she could see was a gestational sac, and that it said it was 4-5 weeks. And also that she just saw a shadow but she couldn't measure it. She said the gestational sac wouldn't show unless I was pregnant. So I am right...? I haven't bled or anything. She said my urine test said I was about 7 weeks, and my sac says 4-5 weeks, and the difference is the time of conception. I am pregnant right....? :(

You are more than likely pregnant. It's just too soon to show right now. Give it a few more weeks and then go back. By then you should be able to see the first pictures of your new bundle. :)

All I can tell you is I had a miscarriage last year and I was about 8 weeks along. When I started bleeding I went to the ER and they did an ultrasound. They said there was only a sac, no heartbeat no baby, and that according to the sac I was only 6 weeks along, but technically I was pregnant. I hope this isn't the same case for you. I will be praying.

Theres no way to tell how far along you are on a pregnancy piss test, all it does is confirm your pregnancy. It looks for the pregnant hormone in our Body that indicates were pregnant. And 4-5 weeks is too early to see anything on a ultrasound so your fine, you will start to see a tiny bean looking baby at 6 weeks and thats when you can hear a heartbeat. Thats wy when you schedule an appointment with your ob/gyn they want you to be at least 6-8 weeks before coming in on your first ultrasound.

So yes you are pregnant, relax and congrats :)
