my two month old son doesn't want to stay up after five, what should I do?

I feed him for three, he usually fusses, falls asleep for a short while, but wants to stay up till five, than he wants to fall asleep at five. If I can keep him up after 5, how long should I keep him up till?

You shouldn't keep up a two month old at ALL. Let him sleep whenever he wants to (and whenever he's tired, even if he is fighting sleep), night and day.

An average 'schedule' (their own, not devised by the parent) for a two month old would be to wake up to eat, stay awake for maybe an hour, maybe two for VERY wakeful babies, and go back to sleep until the next time they get hungry.

Babies sleep. Trust me, enjoy it!! When my daughter was 2 months, I used to wake her up because I was missing her... Now she's 7 months and hates naps... It won't last long. Let him sleep!

He needs several naps a day, let him sleep when he wants.
