How can I become a suicide prevention hotline volunteer?
Could anyone tell me how I can become a volunteer at a suicide prevention hotline in the state of Illinois, preferably in either Waukegan, Gurnee, Vernon Hills, Round Lake, Zion or Grayslake? If I could be given a specific place where I can go, a number that I can call, or an association that I can work with, that'd be great. Thank you.

You have to call the organization that is in charge of any suicide prevention hotline and ask about how to volunteer. This information is easy to find online. If you really can't find it, then call your local United Way and ask them to connect you. Be prepared for about 30 hours of training.
