What song do you like that falls outside of the styles of music you don't like?
Some people like Rock and Roll but don't like Country Music, but there's a country song they like, Or some who like current pop music and don't like Classic Rock, but there are Classic Rock songs they like. What is that song for you?
I'm not a Country Music fan but I really dig Robert Earl Keen. Gringo Honeymoon is an awesome song.

I like REK as well, he's one of the favorites that shocks people a little when they hear a CD in my Jeep. There aren't many I don't like. (I'm listening to "Whenever Kindness Fails" right now.)
I tend to listen primarily to alt rock, but there are many songs I like that fall outside the category. Dire Straits, for example, Billy Joel for another. Cab Calloway always gets me strange looks. And if you want strange looks, get caught singing along with Chuck Berry's "My Dingaling" in traffic.
Jim Croce's "Ball of Kerrymuir" always raises eyebrows. And you really should have seen the look on my mother's face when she got into the truck and heard "Lawyers, Guns and Money" by Warren Zevon. "The Streak" by Ray Stevens always gets me a grin, particularly after a streaking incident I was involved in.
"The Scotsman's Kilt" always gets me grin; particularly on Halloween while I'm wearing a kilt. Even the dogs tried to look.
And, I owe David Allen Coe a favor. "The Perfect Country and Western Song" nearly got a number of us thrown out of a bar because we were howling along with the juke box. The only thing that stopped the bartenders from removing us were several other patrons who bought us each a pitcher of beer so that we'd have something better to do with our mouths other than singing, or rather, attempting to sing.
I listen to a number of genres. With the exception of many variants of rap, it's hard to tell what I won't listen to, and I haven't heard enough of the stuff I will listen to for me to figure out what I like.

I'm not into harder rock music. I prefer the softer stuff...singer-songwriter music, 80s tecno-pop, 70s R & B. But, I really like Dreams by Van Halen, especially when it's coupled with the awesome Blue Angels music video! Cranking it up!

Sorry sir, the only bands right here in Riverside Ca are actually not incredibly worth seeing, the only "great" band to make it out right here became Alien Ant Farm, and im no longer very keen on them. BTW the suitable difficulty approximately Riverside, is which you do no longer could stay in Riverside. Edit: only third cost death steel bands (like the only my brother became in, he have been given kicked out of his band only final night) and third cost hardcore bands. there is barley any variety right here, whether in case you bypass to San Francisco they have a lots wider form of bands, the placement is amazingly underrated whilst it includes song in my view.

I'm more into hard rock, yet I have some strange addiction to Yo ho, by blood on the dance floor, whom I do not care for.

I am not into heavy metal, but Led Zeppelin's 'The Immigrant Song' and 'Stairway to Heaven' come to mind.
