Why haven't i gained that much weight? Please explain.?

Okay i'm 17 years old weigh 120 pounds and i have been lifting for 4 1/2 months. I want to know why i only gained 2 pounds since i started. After big workouts i drink Muscle Milk and i check to see what has protein in alot of foods i eat. My body is muscular and toned out but i wanna know why i only gained 2 pounds.

    2 pounds is a lot of muscle(next time you are at the store look at 2 pounds of meat). Should be proud of yourself. Muscle is built over time. Perhaps maybe you are training for strength and not hypertrophy? Also maybe you just need to eat more calories.

    look Dave is gona tell u how this works if u want to gain weight eat 10 bag of chips few bissli bags sodas candy etc and ull be gaining thw weight u want trust me
