Using propane stove indoors with wall furnace heater on safe?
IDK if this is a stupid question, but,
is it safe to use a propane stove or propane hand torch indoors with a wall furnace heater thats heated with natural gas. I'm new to this apartment and never used the furnace before. I do not smell any gas or any leak from the furnace.
Is there any specific precautions I should take? I don't want to blow up.

It may or not be a stupid thing to do but to ask about doing it is not stupid. Understand the difference?
A natural gas furnace has what is called a "fire box". That box is vented outside with/through a chimney. That's the way they are designed and are suppose to work. That way the water, CO2 (carbon dioxide) and if any carbon monoxide goes outside, all by products of fire which a furnace produces. Carbon monoxide can kill above certain levels in the home but gets vented through the chimney and by design does not vent into your home. That is safe.
Using a propane stove for COOKING in a home is considered safe but you should not be cooking all day long or using it for heating your home. It is not safe to heat your home with a propane stove or hand torch. I don't see any risk for an explosion but your concern should be how much or long you use the stove and torch inside your home without proper ventilation with outside air. That's the only danger I see. Of course you never say why you would want to use the torch or stove.
Finally using a natural gas furnace and propane inside your home will not cause an explosion unless any of the appliances are defective. I hope this covers your concerns. SS

Natural gas come with it's own air supply ( look at the 2 orifices - BG is big, LP is very small ), LP needs O2. Althought the simple air leaks of a regular house with provide enought for cooking. I fyou burned an LP space heater or had a pro range & were a chef, you might consider cracking a window..........

no problem,,, you will not " blow up "
would be the same as if you used your gas stove to cook dinner while your gas heater is on... millions of Americans do it every day ... they are doing right now as !
