I have a Syrah and a Cabernet Sauvignon. Which of these, if either, would make good mulled wine?

I would go for the slightly sweeter syrah.
Hell, mull both together. I bet you have enough room in your crock pot for both bottles!

Either will work. You might still want to add a little sugar or even some apple juice. I've made several mulled wines in the past and have used different kinds of reds.
