Help! Do you speak German?

I sold something on ebay to a German person. I told her it's damaged, and asked if she wants it anyway, or a refund.

Her answer:

you can bey it return

mfg

I said:

Sorry, I don't understand. Are you saying that you prefer a refund?

Her answer:

mfg

Help! What does 'mfg' mean?

Update:

So does she want a refund or not?

Update 2:

mfg is Mit Freundlichen Grussen, which is literally With friendly greetings, or regards as your father says.

"You can bey it in return", I take to mean that you can buy it back from her, or in other words, give her a full refund.

German is the countrywide language in Germany. Most of the Germans in Germany are fluent in English even though, so English is the moment language over there. Now a few Dutch folks have migrated to Germany, that is why they talk Dutch. But in south Switzerland, for instance, German is spoken there. But to reply your query, sure, Germans talk German.
