Baby kicking or just our minds playing tricks on us?

So last night my boyfriend and I were laying in bed and I had my hand on my tummy and I felt what felt like someone flicking my insides hard then my boyfriend had his hand on my tummy and felt the same thing. I am 18 weeks pregnant and just wondering if this possibly could be the baby kicking?

    Yes, I am 17 weeks and feel her kick all the time.

    At 18 weeks it is possible to feel the baby kicking.
