Should I skip school Friday?
I don't believe that the world will end but some people do. And I have no idea what they're going to choose to do. Nothing will probably happen besides a few pranks but still.... Should I play it safe?
P.S. My town is also called Newtown...
I DON'T believe the world will end. I do, however, think people will plan to do bad things during the school day.

If you want to get into college dont skip school in hs
Do it at your own risk

No you should not skip school. Exactly how long did you expect the Maya's to build a calender for. 500 years was not enough? The same thing that happens every winter solstice will happen, The Sun will rise and set according to schedule.

If youre going to bunk school at least it be for a decent reason!
Me and my friends bunked school to go to a theme park, they're always packed and over crowded during week-ends!
