Why do people drink Alcohol?

Uhhh, soda is very sugar and usually caffeinated so I don't understand how it's healthy haha. But there are a lot of uses for alcohol. First off it's only unhealthy when you binge drink, actually studies have shown alcohol can be good for your heart in moderation (1-2 drinks a day), it can treat anxiety and stress as a substitute for stuff like hydroxyzine which really is terrible for you, and wine and beer (in moderation) can help clean out your kidneys. My Grandfather its actually prescribed 1 beer every week for his kidney issues (and no he isn't making it up lol). It's really only expensive if you let it be: I buy a handle of Hendricks gin ($35) and it lasts me a few months, and a 6 pack of something (I'm a craft beer guy, fun hobby to brew and critique other crafts; $10) every week. So that's a total of $55ish per month expense. I actually only drink that ave water, water mostly of course because I used to drink so many soft drinks that the caffeine gave me cardiac arrythmia.

Soda? Seriously? You wanna talk about bad for you and you think people should drink ******* soda?

Moderate alcohol consumption actually has health benefits. No amount of soda has health benefits and can lead to diabetes. Have you ever seen someone die from diabetes? Usually they get body parts amputated before they finally die.

Anyway, I enjoy the beer I make at home. Many interesting styles and many different techniques involved.

Well I'm not a heavy drinker, but i can tell you that alcohol does make you feel really warm and cozy after a couple of drinks. I'd sometimes put a little in coffee for a good night topper. It puts me to sleep like a log, and sometimes people who have trouble sleeping do that.

It isn't bad for you. In fact, moderate drinking has been linked to significantly lower chances of mortality, cancer, cholesterol and a whole lot of other things. Plus it's nice.

Or just drink water and milk. Natural stuff is better for you, screw soda :)

Because they are addicted to it. They want get fun or relieve the pain.

FYI...soda is FAR worse for you than alcohol. Educate yourself, kid!
