How much should i sell my car for?

Hi, im thinking about selling my fairly new car but have no experience how to do so. I heard selling it privately is better so I want to try that.

Specs:

2012 Mazda 3 Itouring w/Skyactive

Moonroof w/ Bose speakers

Graphite Grey exterior/black interior

*All upgrades that come with this trim level(too much to name)

*Total cost was around 24k including full extended waranties

Bought it in july 28, 2012 paid for full in cash(was gift to me)

****OHHH: Has about 4k miles. Great new condition.

What is the minimum price I should accept for my car?

The minimum price you should accept is $16,872.45

But you should be able to get 20K for it.

DO NOT sell it to a dealer!!!

"Fairly new"? It's barely broken in! Sure you don't want to keep it? You probably should.

Regardless, a 2012 Mazda 3 i Touring model, with 4k miles, has the current market value of $15,674 from a private seller or $14,349 on a trade in.

THERE ARE NUMEROUS MODELS OF THE MAZDA 3. PROBABLY AROUND $16,000 OR $17,000 WITHOUT KNOWING ALL THE SPECIFICS. YOU'RE BETTER OFF SELLING IT PRIVATELY. A DEALER WILL PROBABLY OFFER ABOUT $13,000 OR $14,000
