In an indirect way, yes, you can time travel, but only to the future.

If you travel at a speed faster than the speed of light, you are actually travelling at a speed that is faster than the real world, but since light is so fast, you will be "compressed"

    meaning that you age less

So, this year is 2012. If you travel at a speed double to that of the speed of life, and it is "now" 2014, when you step back to normal time, you have only aged one year.

SO yes, time travel is possible, but in an indirect way.

Time travel already is possible. It is relative.

On the Space Station, they have a program to keep the clock turned back because it is moving forward in time by milliseconds all the time.

Time is relative to proximity to gravity wells. The greater the time travel needed, the greater the gravity so you might be a little 'eeewww'. when you get there.

Or something like that. Sorry, I'm distracted with a conversation with my future self.

I will let you know yesterday LOL

actually their are a couple of theories

    1. if you could get close to the speed of light than you would be traveling forward in time. Can't go back in time using this method.

    2. If theoretical wormholes are real, than it could be possible that they would connect two different times and you could go back and forth between those two different times

No. Time is just a measurement of natural processes. You are basically asking if it is possible to make those natural processes everywhere except one location move in reverse. Not possible.

  • Imagine it this way: If time travel did exist, wouldn't there be any "time tourists" around today?

It's possible but also very deathly dangerous.
