Opinion of 12-21-12 (read detail for full question)?
Alright, so I'm sure we are all familiar with the thought of the world ending on December 21st. I'm not asking on whether you guys believe it will end then or not, but do you think things will happen that day? As in, people will take the opportunity to do bad/stupid things? Perhaps more senseless violence, possibly terrorist attacks? I believe that would be a good chance for bad people, since it is already a day where some people will be worried. All opinions are welcome!
Hector, I agree, most of these questions get annoying but they are specifically asking about if people think the world will end or not... To the other person who answered speaking about figuring out fiction from reality, it is real that people can do bad things that day. I understand the world won't end, but at my school alone, we've had 4 threats for Friday. One ended in an arrest, when a student threatened to come to school Friday, shoot everyone then hang himself in the bathroom. One of the others was a bomb threat, and the other two just shooting threats. I agree it most likely will just be another day, but I was asking for people's opinions.

Whatever happens, it has nothing to do with what goes on in the sky. It's just people doing one of the things they do better: fooling themselves.

Adults understand that just because a few kids think it would be neat if zombies were real it doesn't mean that they can snack on their neighbor's brains.
You need to work on being able to discern reality from fiction.

Suicides I can gauretee that! Police have already blocked off a village where a group of people planned to commit suicide there.
