Is it true that a good amount of smart people?

No --- I have had the pleasure of working with some very high IQ gentlemen a few years ago..... They all had plenty if not more common sense than most folks....... So the reality is - They are like anyone else.... Some have common sense and some didn't.....

and on the other hand I knew this other guy who was about as intellectual as a bag of rocks..... He had more common sense than most people I ever knew......

most of them do have common sense, only a few doesn't have it. but some not so smart people too are lack of common sense. so i guess let i be smarts or nots, some people have it and some don't. There are lot of smart people who are equally good in leadership.

Many times even the so-called smart people have absolutely no common sense what-so-ever......i.e. Politicians

Sometimes emotions can get in the way of intelligence, and they are two different things, but I agree for the most part.
