Bump on the back of my cartilage piercing?

So I have two cartilage/helix piercings in right ear. One I've had for 3 years, the other for about two years I think... The older of the two occasionally gets a bump on the back of the hole. It's not noticeable, I can only feel it when I take out the earring. It goes away if I put used teabags on it (yeah, it's weird, but it works for some reason). It only happens on that one piercing. It doesn't hurt either.

What could it be?

it could be a small bursa sac- an area that didn't heal quite right, and the bump is the sac inflaming.
