What's YOUR idea of a perfect wedding?

mine...I want to get married at the church that's in the Shepherd of the Hills park in Branson. The church is beautiful...I just want to marry my best friend...and my grandparents and aunt to be there...I don't know if it can even happen...because i'm so young and...they're getting old and dying... :/ i hope that it can happen. there's always that chance. (:

I used to have big dreams of a fancy affair, the big white dress, the music and dancing, champagne, gorgeous flowers....

For my first wedding, I had most of that, but there were so many things that actually went wrong at the last minute, I wish I had saved myself the headache and gone to a Justice of the Peace.

I'm getting remarried, and my idea of a perfect wedding has changed drastically. We're getting married in a park, with only the officiant, a friend of mine who is a photographer (also our witness), and my two children from my previous marriage.

We're undecided on a reception or celebratory party, but if we do have something, it will be a laid-back affair, most likely in my mom's backyard or something, with food, drinks, and music. No fancy setup, no centerpieces, just a fun, laid-back party with good friends.

I don't want to go into the details of my wedding. But I'm very excited that most of my family will be able to come and I'm hoping the two very different cultures will learn much from each other.

Idk exactly. somewhere with pretty scenery. comfortable sunny weather with a light breeze. and a wedding where the guests don't disrupt the wedding (perhaps by like getting wasted, becoming belligerent, vomiting everywhere, etc). where everyone my fiancee and i care about is able to travel to attend (our families live far apart).

and most importantly a wedding that results in a lifelong, happy marriage.

Impromptu courthouse wedding where we ask two strangers to be our witnesses.
