Sure, I know where to get illegal guns, but I suppose most people don't. However I personally Prefer a pump shotgun with a short barrel for home defense. It's a little more cumbersome in a tight spot, but you're less likely to kill somebody in the next room because the round went straight through the attacker. Also, the sound of a 12 gauge going off attracts attention, so if you do shoot the cops will be on the way soon. Most people find a shotgun more intimidating too, so you're less likely to have to shoot.

First off a shotgun is a better self defense weapon for the home than a handgun in my opinion, unless you are attacked by a gang. Secondly, in my state you can sell guns at an auction or a garage sale and never ask anything of the buyer.

Hey Einstein, our own government just gave 2000+ assault rifles to mexican drug Cartels. They killed an American border agent with them. Not hard to find them when the govenment gives them to a country that already has gun control.
