mercury university question.?
would like to become a certified outboard mechanic. preferably not through wyotech or UTI MMI. i already have a wide knowledge of engines, and i am half way through college with 60 credits. where are the 18 mercury locations across the united states, also preferably in california. Any other alternative schools in california?, thank you for your time

You can't just walk in or pay to get in, you will have to work for a Mercury dealer and wait until the class is available to that dealer unless things have changed.Also,Mercury likes to start you off with the basics and progress to the more advanced classes.They usually are a week long (each class),and the only ones that I have been to have been in Atlanta.

Maybe it depends on which end is in love with them. Yes, I did do a google search, and I am aware of the dangers, but in my home and garage there are many more things more toxic than mercury. The thermometers aren't banned here in my state, but as long as I don't break it I should be fine. Thanks for your concern on this issue.
