Who influenced James Brown and his dance moves ?

I was just wondering since i love Michael Jackson SO MUCH, and ive always wanted to be a dancer and singer like him, and ive studied his dance moves all of my life and his songs, and i especially love his moves and being on youtube for a long time, ive noticed in certain videos that Michael took alot of things that James did and made them into his own style, as any artist should, and i love both of their styles, knowing that Michael Jackson was influenced by a wide range of greats like Sammy Davis Jr, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Bojangles, Jackie Wilson, Charlie Chaplin, The Lockers, and the Nicholas Brothers and im sure alot of others, but for him it was especially James Brown and how Michael incorporated Jame's moves into his own style and made them his own, also knowing that Michael choreographed as well, but who influenced James Brown's moves ? Did he invent all of those moves that he did and that then Michael did ? Did he take moves from somewhere ? Did he choreograph everything too ? Any answers or suggestions you guys give me is very appreciated, im very curious of the people that influence and inspire me and whats influenced them, thank you and God Bless.

Somebody already said Jackie Wilson. Some others were Little Richard, Ray Charles& Chuck Berry.

for sure he infuenced dancing because he replaced into between the most recognized human beings doing their very own dance strikes they made up. And he replaced into doing strikes that were in all likelihood extra sturdy than the human beings at his time. He replaced into doing michael lengthy befor micheal broke off contained in the 80's. And chris brown is a miles extra proper dancer than james brown and is extra athletic than all 3 of them. im no longer for particular if hes 21 yet. . Michael ought to sing 10 circumstances extra proper than all of them. And some thing you want locate on the web, google, wikipedia, and youtube will educate you it.

Jackie Wilson > James Brown > Michael Jackson

The " > " doesn't represent greater thens but the chain of influence, and Charlie Chaplin was a big inflience on Michael but not on his dancing but on his acting and entertaining buisness, best exemple "Smile" I hope I helped :)

Im pretty sure James Brown was his own inventor, Michael said it himself that as an artist he wanted to be a pioneer in the dance, music scene. And im just guessing here but I think thats what Michael idolized about all his heroes, they were all their own.

    Idk, i hope i wasn't rambling to much :P
