What PS3 games are good for a guy but rated teen or lower?
I'm thinking of getting a Playstation 3, and I'm trying to figure out what games would be good to go with it. The games would be for my husband, but I'm not wanting to get anything rated Mature or Adults Only; I want the games to be family friendly, so rated Teen or below. Suggestions? What's good? What's not? I'm not a gamer so I have no idea.
I don't want anything too violent. No first person shooter type (unless they're shooting something totally unrealistic like a non-humanoid alien). Probably something that's a single person player...I don't even know too much about multiple players or how that works.
Many of the suggestions look interesting, but Black Ops, Assassin's Creed, and Skyrim are all rated Mature. I'm looking for stuff that is NOT Mature. Thanks!

Family friendly games? Ok then
Batman: Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition (Rated Teen)
Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition (Rated Teen)
Both together are less than $60. Amazing voice acting, great story, and controls aren't difficult to learn so it makes it an easy game to just pick up and play. Both are Games of the Year.
inFAMOUS Collection (Rated Teen)
Its 3 game for about $30 so its quite a deal. The story is OK ( I was slightly disappointed with inFamous 2) and some of the powers/moves are a bit hard to pull off. Has a little bit of colorful language. Overall its still a fun trio of games.
Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two (Rated Everyone)
I have to admit from the start with this game I have only played some of the first Epic Mickey game and the demo for Epic Mickey 2. Its quite fun and most the levels are based on Micky Mouse cartoons like the first game.(Some very old cartoons) The second game allows for local co op but its not necessary you can still play it as a single player game. The biggest drawback to this game is its a BIT hard to control with out a PS Move controller and I don't have one. (If I wanted to Move I'd go outside) Its also not expensive. You can find it for $30 or $40.

I recommend the inFamous series. You're just an average joe, who ends up being among a select few who receives superpowers after a catastrophic incident in your city that killed thousands and left many survivors infected with an unidentified plague. You're given the choice to use your powers for good or evil, and depending on the choices you make, the storyline is changes. If you enjoy sandbox styled action games, you really can't go wrong with the Triple Pack that is on sale at most retailers for $29.99. It comes with the first game, inFamous (2009), inFamous 2 (2011) and all the additional DLC. All Rated T.

Do you adore fighting games? If so, super road Fighter 4 or best surprise vs Capcom are lovely enjoyable and finding out the combos can get pretty deep. Should you like racing video games Gran Turismo 5 is pleasant. The replay price is pleasant and the profession lasts a even as.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Uncharted 2
Uncharted 3
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2
All of the above have shooting of humans, but there is no blood splatter or gore.
You can also play Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City.

Depends on what kind of game you want to get him. If you want a single player game that he will enjoy by himself get: Drakes Fortune (Old but still one of the best)
If you want a game that he can play online with you and his friends get; Black Ops 2 (violent)
If you want a game thats good for a party and other events get: Little Big Planet
If you want a game that he'll love but will most likely ruin your marriage because he'll never want to stop playing get: Skyrim
Good Luck :)
