All those are of course interesting for students of history. I'd add that I would like to see the Great pyramid of Giza in the midst of construction, or the Sermon on the Mount - what did Jesus really look like? What a thrill to see him divide the fisherman's two fish up to feed a thousand and to watch him turn water into wine! What a sight that would be!

Well, temporarily, and provided I could bring a translator, I would go all over (I don't think seeing the Vikings in action would be that pleasurable unless you were a Viking, though). I would never go anywhere permanent, because the past could be pretty horrible at times.
