Male dog gagging very badly?
my 8yr old male carin terrier was gagging horribly last night he did this off and on. he would be sleeping and get up and do it or just sit there and start gagging he did this for a day or two a few months ago i thought it was allergies because that was after a huge amount of rain but now its cold and snowing.i am gonna call his vet as soon as they open i was just wondering if anyone else had a dog do this thanks.

Our 14 year old cat started to gag for no apparent reason. Started off kinda slow, gagging every now and again. We treated him for hairballs thinking that was the problem. It progressively got worse, and his breath was unbearably awful. Upon taking him to the vet, it turns out he had 8 infected rotten teeth that were wreaking havoc in his mouth and throat. We payed to get the rotten teeth removed and a teeth cleaning. Might be the same problem especially considering the dog's age. Either way a vet visit is in order!

Take him to a vet straight away ! The poor bugger could have something really wrong with him or be in alot of pain !
