Artists/Bands/Singers Weirder than Captain Beefheart on Trout Fish Replica?
I just listened to Captain Beefheart's "Trout Fish Replica" after reading and hearing it mentioned many times. If it's not one of the weirdest albums, I agree that it's the weirdest album ever recorded. Every music by the instruments never mix well, or rather colliding into each other throughout the album. Beefheart's vocals sound more monstrous than any monster existed in both reality and fantasy.
So I wonder if there are any other artists/bands/singers who are weirder in their particular album than Captain Beefheart in "Trout Fish Replica". Is there anyone weirder than him musically?

I take offense when you say his vocals are monstrous; his vocals are wonderful. I also don't quite agree that the instruments "don't mix well", it is challenging music, but it is not a cacophony. Captain Beefheart isn't "weird music", and wasn't about being "weird". It just isn't music that was created for radio stations.
So...I'm not sure I ought to mention these artists, because I'm not sure you're going to "get" them. But each has something Beefheartian about them. You'd probably consider these "weird" too, and a lot weirder than Captain Beefheart.

The mirror guy sessions, with the aid of a techniques. No goofery, no extraordinary monologues, in simple terms staggering musicians making staggering, prolonged blues music. BQ: Tarotplane, Kandy Korn, Orange Claw Hammer (the stay version he performed with Zappa in 1975, not the unique acapella version), Alice in Blunderland, Dropout Boogie. BQ2: Sorry, Captain, yet Zappa wins this with the aid of a mile. not something can tournament his guitar enjoying. The Captain is definitely the greater powerful lyricist, however - he in simple terms does not extremely have Zappa's skill for musical composition, diverse the Captain's stuff is somewhat too cluttered and unfocused.

Showbread. Not only is their music weird, but the guys have been known to do some pretty crazy stuff as well. One of the things they are known for on tours is bringing airsoft rifles and shooting each other with them at close range on the tour bus to find out where it hurts the most. Just watch this video and listen to this song if you don't believe me.

Wesley Willis, wrote probably 10,000 songs and 9999 all sounded the same, in their own weirdly awesome way. With topics ranging from whooping superman's butt to Oprah to things that probably will get banned on here.
