Has Putin always been this awful?

To anybody who says Putin is good: Medvedev was better, the elction was rigged

Putin himself says that there were cases of fraud during elections as local authorities were afraid to attract attention of Kremlin to their corruption that would surface if results of elections in their regions would be considersbly diferent from average in the country - but the fact is that even if elections were 100% clean Putin would still have won elections - all foreign polls proved that (including those done by BBC)....as for Putin himself - he is not awfull - he is the best leader Russia has ever had ....give example of better one if you can - Gorbi who collapsed the state? drunkard Yeltsin who permited oligarhs to rob people and nearly disintegrated Russia?, Brezhnev? Stalin?"Tsar? - who?...Medvedev was never real president - he is unable to be one without help as he has no support in the army and not taken seriously by people - he (Medvedev) is just a good guy, but not a president - I would play tennis with him, but never would like to have him as commander-in-chief of the army if I were a soldier...

The U.S. has no right to say any foreign leader is awful when the U.S. violates human rights all the time. Where is your source for what Pres Obama said? The Russians have good reason to forbid adoptions by Americans. Putin has been good for Russia.
