ZTE fury phone won't charge?
What it will do is, turn on, and stay at 0%. It won't turn off or anything. I've tried changing the battery, and the charging cord. I also plug it in in different locations (USB and wall), I have dropped it a few times, but it has a case on it. As for any apps that could be doing this, it is a new phone (2 weeks maybe 3, so no extra apps). The only time it has gotten wet is something like a few drops of whatever i'm drinking onto the screen, which I promptly wiped up. and as a side note we do have sprint. idk if that is needed or not.

First thing you should do is to take your battery out of the phone and see if it is swollen at all, if there is a bulge a in middle. A good way to test is to place it on the counter and spin it, if it stops quickly it should be fine but if it spins like a top, its bad and you should go to Sprint and get it replaced. If its good, you can still take it to a Sprint service and repair store and have it tested. Technically, batteries aren't covered under warranty but we typically replace them free of charge. You should also look into the charge port and make sure this port is clean and that there isn't anything packed into the back of the port that's causing the charger to not go in all the way, if there is try and clean it out (Sprint can do this too). Also, if you have another charger, or just a USB cable, try that and see if it helps. If all of this fails to help, may have an issue w/ hardware or software. To test if its software, I would perform a hard reset. Boot into the bootloader mode and select factory reset. If it was a software issue that should resolve it. If that doesn't do it, then you really need to take it to the Sprint store and have a technician look at it. More than likely it will need to be replaced. Hint though, if it comes to this, when you go in, don't tell them you spilled water on it ever.

The first time you charged your phone you should have let it charge for at least 5 hours. You need to let the phone charge all the way until it indicates that the phone is done charging. You may have messed up the battery memory. You should have read the directions that came with your phone. You can buy a new phone and transfer your service from your current phone to your new phone and return your current phone to Wal-Mart. But make sure to return the phone with the correct box. You have 30 days to return your phone to Wal-Mart.
