Why is my puppy peeing every 10-15 minutes?

I just recently got my second Golden puppy a few weeks ago. She is now over 10 weeks old and pretty much potty trained. She whines at the door and spins when she want to go outside. :)

Anyway, just this evening for the past 3 hours or so she has had to go out about every 10 minutes. She has pooed three times (not diarrhea) and peed every time. She has access to water and drinks plenty throughout the day. She ate about 4 hours ago.

Only thing I can think of is it's raining out and she loves it so she is looking for any excuse to be out there. But I didn't think a dog could piddle so much!!

Could it be a UTI??

Update:

She hasn't had any accidents in the house....all of her peeing and pooeing has been outside.

I think you gave your answer to yourself! You said :"She has access to water, and drinks plenty throughout the day." If she's like my dog, she's an obsessive water drinker. If she drinks a lot of water, of course she's going to pee a lot! But, it also sounds like she's training YOU! You need to put a stop to that, before it becomes an ingrained habit that's going to be version hard to break! Don't let her make YOU let her out every 10 minutes! That's way excessive! Make her wait, even if she begs or whines. Let her know who's in charge. Who's alpha. If you do find that she's just drinking water for the sake of drinking then it needs to be controlled. My Vet advised me to freeze my dog's water bowl, where he could still get water as it melted, but couldn't excessively drink. BUT, you should talk to you're dog's Vet about excess water consumption by your dog if it's happening because it CAN be a symptom of certain disorders, also he or she may advise a different way of dealing with it. Good luck!

i can honestly say i don't think it's a UTI, but i'm not a veterinarian so don't take my word for it. it's always good to confirm your suspicions, but make sure it's been going on for a while not just three hours.

my puppy, who's now 6 months old, caught on to the whole doing his business outside thing after about two weeks.

however, even months after getting him, he'd have these days where he'd have accidents for no reason.

one afternoon, he peed three times on the floor for no reason.

since they're puppies & are just learning, they tend to forget or don't think that letting you know they need to go out is really a big necessity.

they just wanna stay in the house, or play.

it's like toddlers, they're too busy playing & exploring to stop for a potty break :P haha.

keep doing the treat thing until your puppy goes a month without an accident.

my dog hasn't had an accident once except for the exception of when he hurts himself & it scares him & he runs around peeing xD

It is most likely a UTI. Take her to the vet so she can get some relief :)
