What is a trojan virus? And how do you get infected with it?

A trojan virus is a virus that hides it self inside a innocent looking program , it's name comes from the trojan horse and it infects your computer opon opening the file

A Trojan horse, or Trojan, is a malicious application that masquerades as a legitimate file or helpful program but whose real purpose is, for example, to grant a hacker unauthorized access to a computer. Trojans may use drive-by downloads or install via online games or internet-driven applications in order to reach target computers.

It is a programme which runs along with the OS as hidden and interacts with your files and damage them, it also distorts the OS files and makes your system unusable.
