subtracting decimals?

Hey guys, I know this is stupid, but how do you subtract two decimal numbers like:

0.28-1.35 manually?

Please show working! Thanks

Update:

Well, it should be obviously be since 0.28 is less than -1.07. How do you get that?

    Line it up 1.35 on top. .28 on the bottom. Match up decimal points. I think you would get 1.07.
