I think my teacher is starting to creep me out..?

Okay, I don't think he likes me, but he is really starting to freak me out. He is like 28, and my Science teacher. He just came to my High School this year, so I was trying to be nice and was asking him questions (what's your favorite food, color, movie..) and he was answering. This was during my study hall, and everybody was talking and listening...he was answering them too. Of course, I was distant.

So one day my friend and I were talking, and I was jokingly telling her that my cat is a republican. I thought she was the only one who heard it, and we were both laughing. So during our next Science class, we were talking about climate change and he was like " Emma's cat doesn't believe in climate change!" (because you know some replubicans..I didn't bring this up..) but anyways, no one had no clue what was going on, so everyone was like "wtf" and my friend and I shared worried glares...we were somewhat creeped out.

Okay, then another reason was that one day we were righting statements on the board and I said I agreed with one of them, so he literally DREW a cartoon version of me and he wrote "Emma likes this!!! wahoo!!" He does this on most of my homework assignments also, like he draws cartoons all over my homework saying awkward expressions...they are really creepy. I guess I'm just creeped out because he must of spent so much time on them...

So anyways, this WEEK, he asked me what music I like, so I was like, and I told him. So then I went to the bathroom and I came back and he was playing my favorite song!!! What do you think of this? Then this really weird girl asked him why doesn't he have his coffee today (he ALWAYS drink coffee...) and he was like, "Oh, I took my heroin this morning!! I think he was joking, but it was still weird..

He is just really creepy. I know he trying to find his place because it's his only first year at the school. But there is a huge difference between a cool, young, new teacher and a creepy young one...

What do you guys think??

p.s- he isn't attractive, at all....

Update:

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, he is a nice teacher, but from the events, do you find that creepy?

I think that because you seem like a nice friendly girl, he notices this and may be desperate to keep a hold of you...(not like that) like, he wants to come across that he is settling in well by creating this relationship with one of his students. I'm sure his not a weirdo, to be a teacher, you have to go through so much education and training and have a CRB check to ensure you're not a nut job, so I'm pretty sure this is just his deranged way of settling in. However, I think it is important for you to slightly and kindly begin to distance away from him so he gets the message.

Eh, I wouldn't really jump to conclusions yet. He sounds like he might just have a silly personality. I doubt he was sitting there listening intensely to you and your friend's conversation about your cat, he probably just happened to hear it. The drawing thing is a little odd, but again, he might just be being goofy. I'd only really be worried if he was drawing you with boobs or something, or writing inappropriate or sexual things with them.

If he ever does do anything really suspicious or inappropriate, then definitely report him to the principal. But I haven't seen any of the warning signs in what you've written. If he ever touches you inappropriately, makes sexual comments or jokes towards you, calls you pet names (that sound like something he'd call a significant other, not a student), or asks you to meet up with him outside of school, then I would worry and think you should tell the principal.

Nah, he's just being friendly. :) You asked him personal questions before so by right, he can ask them too. He was making an inside joke with the cat thing, like maybe he over heard you guys as he was walking behind you or walking past.

He just sounds like a really lame dad trying to be hip.

Well emma you should report that because that is sexual harrasment

Believe it or not because that is also bulying against one individual with another and a teacher can't do that only to a whole class he can.
