Can having your gall bladder removed affect your menstual cycle?

I had my gall bladder removed on November 20, 2012. My menstrual started on November 18, 2012 and only stayed down I think for 2 days. Now here it is December 20th and I have seen nothing. I know its still early but Im usually right on time! I don't wanna rus out and buy a pregnancy test. I havent been pregnant in over 14yrs so it just seems a little funny. Should I wait more or go ahead and take it. Or just not worry at all (which is unlikely) because its just because of the gall bladder being removed?

Any surgery can mess up your periods. Your body turns it attention to fixing the wound.

You can get a reasonably accurate answer from those things when your period is 3 days overdue. BUT with your surgery that can be messed up also. Personally unless you're considering an abortion and want to know ASAP I'd just wait another week.
