Outdoor shelter w/ indoor fireplace?
Alright, so I built the shelter like this and everything is looking good but when I make my fire all the smoke doesn't go up the chimney but right into my shelter and face. any fixes?
It looks like in this video, only I don't know how to get the smoke from the fire to go up the chimney.

The shelter is to small to support an internal fire pit. Look at pics of how native American's built shelters like this. They are a lot bigger then the one you have. Usually small survival shelters place a fire outside the opening with some stones or a ledge to reflect heat into the shelter.

To get the air to suck out the smoke you have to build a vent running all the way up the back of the chimney and down to the bottom and rear of your fire. Works for me. make sure there is an outlet at the top of the vent otherwise the smoke will come back in.
